A training session on the coupled ocean-atmosphere modeling system SYMPHONIE + RegCM has been organised jointly by the LOTUS International Lab, the University of Science and Technology of Hanoi and the GINCCO IRN in Quy Nhon, Viet Nam. The objectives was to provide junior and senior scientists involved into the CORDEX-SEA project first key elements on the use of the coupled system using an existing regional configuration. In parallel, two sessions were organized on specific uses of the SYMPHONIE model and GINCCO_LIB tools. This event brought together 15 participants and 5 trainers from Viet Nam, France, Thailand, Cambodia, Indonesia, the Philippines and Malaysia.
