Research cruises

The NIVMER cruises represent an important stage of the life of the network. They take place every year, during a rotation of the Marion Dufresne vessel in French Southern Islands, and allow the maintenance of the coastal stations and the moorings. The team which leaves for campaign consists of an engineer of the DT/INSU and of a scientist. The maintenance operations of the ROSAME network were the object of 14 annual demands since 1991, and received every year the approval of OPCB and IPEV committees.
