Monitoring of Antarctic Circumpolar Current

A tide gauge global network is used to monitor the Antarctic Circumpolar Current, from the Drake passage to the Pacific mouth. The sea level variability is measured so as to contribute to the ACCLAIM (Antarctic Circumpolar Current Levels for Altimetry and Island Measurements)UK project. The french contribution is the ROSAME network : the Crozet-Kerguelen section and the Australia-Antarctic section, in collaboration with Australians. The recording series are studied closely to altimetric data analysis.
