My research focuses on the circulation dynamics of coastal and oceanic systems in tropical and subtropical regions. I contribute to the development of community numerical models (notably CROCO) and their use in fundamental and applied research. During the last twenty years, my research at IRD has been concerned with the issue of sustainable development in the South. My various missions have allowed me to develop a comparative approach to coastal processes and vulnerability.
