EMC2: Energy, Mass and Climate Change

Alejandro rejoined the CNES at 2006 as space mechanics engineer in interplanetary and reentry studies. He worked in the ROSETTA/PHILAE mission and was in charge of the mission analysis for the landing site selection and operations. After the landing of Philae in the comet, he joined the Laboratoire d’Etudes en Géographie et Océanographie Spatiales (LEGOS) in 2015. He received the Ph.D. degree from Universite de Toulouse III, France, in 2020 with a thesis on the satellite characterization of the water mass exchange between ocean and continents at interannual to decadal timescales. His area of specialization is the spatial geodesy and his research interests are focused on the causes of the sea-level rise and the global water budget at interannual to multidecadal timescales.
