I’m a physical oceanographer, expert in ocean equatorial dynamics and climate variability in the Tropical Pacific. My research interests are on oceanic circulation variability in the Tropical Pacific, on low-latitude western boundary currents, and on the equatorial current system dynamics. I'm currently leading research projects on Marine Heatwaves, and on fine-scale oceanic processes in the SouthWest Pacific. I’m mainly working with various observations, including satellite and in situ data, combined with numerical simulations.
