Hi, I'm Théo. I'm a PhD student in glaciology at LEGOS since October 2026 under the supervision of Étienne. Berthier. My research aim at assessing the potential of the Surface Water Ocean Topography (SWOT) satellite to monitor the elevation changes of glaciers and icecaps at seasonal and multi-year scales. In fact, the satellite missions which hitherto allowed these global observations are either over (SPOT5-HRS) or their decommissioning is imminent (ASTER in 2027). Given the abundance of validation dataset and the scientific interest, Iceland and the Antarctic Peninsula are primary focus.
